Bikaner Desert Dunes is a moderate-rated off-road trail near Bikaner, Rajasthan over Sand, Dunes terrain. As a moderate route it's a step up that rewards low-range, decent ground clearance and some prior off-road time.
The trail is at its best in post-monsoon, winter and summer.

Open, operator-run desert/camel/jeep safaris on the Thar dunes near Bikaner need no special access permit for Indians or foreigners; a ticketed entry applies only if entering the separate Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary. (Bikaner is NOT inside Desert National Park — that is Jaisalmer district, which does need forest permits.) Go with a local operator for navigation and heat safety..
