Coorg is a moderate-rated off-road trail near Kodagu, Karnataka over Mud, Gravel terrain. As a moderate route it's a step up that rewards low-range, decent ground clearance and some prior off-road time.
The trail is at its best in post-monsoon, winter and summer, and is usually impassable during the monsoon.
Watch for river crossings; run it in a convoy rather than solo; it best suits experienced drivers.

Kodagu holds wildlife sanctuaries (Talakaveri, Pushpagiri, Brahmagiri), Nagarhole National Park and reserved forests where vehicle access needs KARNATAKA FOREST DEPARTMENT permission or is barred outright — do not enter forest/sanctuary land without a permit. Separately, the estate tracks 4×4 tours use are PRIVATE coffee/spice land needing the owner/operator’s permission. ‘Coorg’ is a broad region, not one track, so which applies depends exactly where you drive.
