Sach Pass (Chamba to Pangi - extremely dangerous crossing) is a extreme-rated off-road trail near Sach Pass, Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh (Chamba valley to Pangi valley) over High-altitude unpaved/broken track, ~4,420 m pass, scree, snow, river crossings, exposed drops terrain. Sach Pass is among the most dangerous roads in the world - an extremely dangerous, high-altitude BRO track that is snowbound and closed roughly November to May/June and open only in the short summer window once cleared. High-clearance 4x4 only; go in a group with recovery gear and fuel; do NOT attempt solo, in bad weather, or off-season. No border/inner-line permit is generally required to cross into Pangi (it is within Chamba district), but conditions change - confirm the pass is open and any current requirements with the Chamba district administration / BRO before travel. Never treat this as freely-drivable..
